Description
Benzalkonium chloride (BAC 50) is a quaternary ammonium-based product. It can be used for the preparation of disinfectants, cleaners and timber preservation formulations and other similar applications.
Applications:
Disinfectant
Used as a preservative in cosmetics
Used in formulations of mils cleaners
Phase transfer catalyst
Microbe corrosion inhibition in the oil industry
Directions of use:
The advised dilution ratio is 1:8 (one-part Bac 50 and eight parts of water). It can be as high as 1:40 application dependant.
Spray and leave formula:
Apply the solution to the affected area and leave it to work. If needed, the advised dilution ratio can be increased.
The product must be used on dry surfaces with no rain forecast for at least 8 hours.
Benzalkonium chloride is readily soluble in alcohols or acetone, all available in our store.

for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and
